Launching Of The Seychelles Executive Leadership Programme (SELP)
As part of the cooperation in the field of improvement and development of Government activities, signed between the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Seychelles, a launching ceremony for the Seychelles Executive Leadership programme was held on the 26th October. The ceremony saw the attendance of the President, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan and the of Cabinet Ministers as well as UAE representatives which included His Excellency Ahmed, Saeed Alneyadi, Chargé d’Affaires to the Seychelles, Manal BinSalem, Eman Omran, Aaesha Al Ahmed from the Government Experience Exchange Office, UAE as well as Dr. Saeed Al Dhaheri, facilitator for Module 1 of the programme.
The SELP covers 5 modules conducted virtually: Future foresight and scenario planning; leading the future; policy, strategic performance and management; digital transformation and leadership; leading in an uncertain world. The participants need to do a capstone as well as conduct a visit to the UAE to experience best practices and present their capstone project. The training spans over four months (October 2023 to February 2024 culminating with the graduation ceremony.
